ÖSTROFER:
To support the hormonal balance of female dogs

Östrofer is a dietary supplement for bitches containing phytohormones (plant precursors for hormone metabolism) from red clover and soya. Östrofer also contains a complex of vitamins and minerals that can have a positive effect on the general hormonal balance and metabolism of bitches: vitamins A, E, K3, D3, C, B1, B2, B6, B12, as well as copper, zinc, manganese and selenium. The cause of incontinence in bitches is often a drop in hormone levels, which can also be a late consequence of neutering. In particular, larger dog breeds (>20 kg) can be affected. The dog is usually given hormone therapy or a drug (usually based on adrenaline). Such therapies do combat the problem, but they have strong side effects on the organism, the heart and the hormone levels of the animal, especially with longer therapies. Östrofer helps bitches to rebalance their hormone levels, and without any of these side effects. The product can also be used in parallel with hormone or adrenaline therapies, which means that reduced doses of medication may be possible. Östrofer is a product that can be administered on a long-term basis. Ideally, feeding should begin immediately after castration. However, it can also be used effectively to support the treatment of incontinence that occurs later.
