When a horse sweats a lot, the minerals chloride, sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium in particular are lost, as well as important trace elements such as zinc, copper and iron. An electrolyte deficiency can lead to longer regeneration times, fatigue, reduced performance and condition and a higher risk of injury. Nutrilytes® Ultra Pellets were developed for leisure and sport horses that have an increased need for electrolytes. A combination of the necessary salts as well as zinc, copper and iron helps the horse to cover the increased need for these substances and to keep the electrolyte balance in equilibrium in the event of fluid loss due to heavy sweating. The product can be fed both after training and in the evening before training to increase electrolyte levels, which are then broken down during sweating. Feeding in the evening has many advantages for the horse: the stomach is full, the horse is relaxed and it stays hydrated overnight as there is sufficient water available. The pellets are also suitable for supporting mares after foaling, especially during long, difficult births accompanied by heavy sweating, and generally to stimulate milk production. Nutrilytes® Ultra was designed as pellets to ensure the highest possible acceptance and at the same time the simplest possible feeding method. The pellets are easily digestible and therefore also suitable for horses with sensitive stomachs. The pellet form is also ideal for administering high levels of electrolytes. Nutrilytes® is also available in the variants Nutrilytes® Basic and Nutrilytes® High Performance.

A system never works alone! So if it performs better after successfully helping with a problem, the related systems are also put under more strain. Only comprehensive support brings lasting success. The focus of the Nutrilabs product formulation is on physiological consistency. Each product is designed not only to address the core problem, but also to support all associated metabolic systems and organs.
