The approximately 13 million skin cells per cm² of a dog's skin often only receive around 40% of the nutrients they need to stay healthy. A dog's skin is already dry and the resulting dull coat needs even more of these specific micronutrients to restore its natural balance. Irostol® Dog contains omega-3, -6 and -9 fatty acids. These unsaturated fatty acids cannot be produced by the dog's body itself and must therefore be supplied with the food. These fatty acids support, among other things, the cell structure and the elasticity of the blood cells, which allows them to penetrate the tissue better and thus be better supplied with oxygen – which is of particular importance for the skin with its many blood vessels. Irostol® Hund also contains: phytosterols (plant-based active ingredients that strengthen the skin's resistance), fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins A and E – for normalising the moisture content), water-soluble vitamins (vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5 , B6 and B12 – to support liver metabolism and thus skin renewal and repair processes ) and minerals (sulphur and zinc – to support skin and hair cell formation and the metabolism of skin and hair cells).
